The HIMA F8627X is a communication module that uses Fast Ethernet and OPC to connect to F8627X CPUs with OS V4.x or higher. It supports MODBUS TCP and ELOP II TCP protocols. The F8627X is used in safety-related applications and is certified for use up to SIL 3 and PL e (Cat. 4), as well as SIL 4 in accordance with CENELEC.
